Topic: Bottom E string 'Buzzin?'

Hi guys, ive noticed when im playing that sometimes my top E string buzzes and sounds aweful. All the other strings sound fine so i don think that its me not pressing in hard enough. Any advice?

Cheers guys and girls, Happy Jamin default/smile

Does it do it when you play that string on it's own? It could be that your action needs adjusting slightly or even the truss rod

Re: Bottom E string 'Buzzin?'

My Fender Squire had a buzzin top E string when I bought it. Kinked string right on a fret marker would you believe. Shop replaced string, adjusted truss and gave me a set of strings FOC for my trouble!!

Shop worth a mention for that i think (in a Yoda type voice)!!

Nice to see a shop giving decent service... sad to say it appears to be a bit of a rare thing nowadays....  default/cool
