Topic: What are your favorite techniques?

Hey guys, what's your favorite techniques?  Do you have any questions with them?
My favorites are bending and vibrato, since they have the most soul to them.

Here's a good tip:
Practice applying techniques to scales and exercises.

For example, if you're working on hammer-ons and pull-offs,
apply them to good old A minor pentatonic default/smile

Of course you can get more creative!

have fun!

Re: What are your favorite techniques?

I agree with vibrato and bending with the occasional slide.

I do occasionally use tapping but i have never really mastered that fast tapping that seems to move across the fretboard!

I'll check out your site in your signature link!

Re: What are your favorite techniques?

Sincerely i love all techniques, it depends on the state i am in and what do i want to play.

Generally i love arpeggios (only that i have to practice them to get faster default/smile), bending, vibrato, slides, tapping....

Everything is nice if you know how to use them.

I saw that many people recommend that it is good to use all the techniques in your playing, so that your imagination grows.

Finger picking, Travis-picking style - acoustic guitar.  Its what I do as a singer songwriter when I play and perform.
