Of course.. Short nails will really help..

So as the lady above suggested.; just show them your nails and tell them that this is how they should be to improve smoothness on the fretboard.

I got my guitar at 12, i was inspired by BRYAN ADAMS back then and later on progressed to "Erick johnson" and Clapton, Buddy Guy, Mark Knophler... I was amazed by the vision of holding a guitar in front of full arena.. i wish i had that kinda fan following..
