<r>Just as Eidi Kakuno says, it's great for warm ups and sync. But also try running through them with different rhythm's i'e triplets or syncopated 16th notes. It then means you practice 2 techniques in 1.<br/>

<r>You could try silicon spray, you can buy it from Maplins. It's good for clearing dust etc.. Alternativley if the pots are old it might be that the solder joints have become 'dry'. If the spray doesn't do it, it may be worth re-soldering the connections.<br/>
