Topic: novice to no skill

hello...my name is shaun and im a new player and semi collector i own 9 guitars at the moment ranging from my neon yellow dean to a esp f-10 and a few in between. recently added a korg ax3000g effects module to my collection and although i dont understand it yet am enjoying experimenting with the effects. sadly my skill level with the guitar is very low but improving im told. im hoping the advise ive already seen here and any new help will aid me on my journey to 6 string heaven.

Hi Shaun

Welcome to the forum - there are a lot of people here with good advice.

Once you have got used to playing chords etc, it is often hard to hear how much progress you have made which can be demotivating.

Try and record yourself playing periodically, you will then be able to listen back and hear how much you have improved - you will be surprised!
