I would try to stay away from something that is generically made for Maplin....

The problem with amps and fle bay is that most people won't post.....

I think there is better on there for that money....but its finding one close to you.....

Have you thought about a modeling amp...Great for starting out and very versatile....

Gives you more sounds then the average amp...which equal more fun in the long term....

The above one will be well worth the £20 more....trust me......

But remember there are those out there that will say mmmmmmmmmmm Modeling amps.... You must have Valves......That is not true........Especially when you starting out or on a budget....I have both a modeling amp and a valve amp..I play my modeling amp the most as it just more fun...

Yes i have, but it is a guitar amp, not a bass.I just looked at that one and thought it was cheap.I was thinking of trying to sell the Marshall, and buy a bass amp. But when i saw the cheap one, i thought it maybe ok, and keep the Marshall in case i fancy the guitar in a couple of years.I couldn`t sell it and use the cash to buy that one though, as it would seem sacralige to part with a Marshall to replace it with a Maplins :p

just wondering what you expect to get out of a 20w bass amp
that you cant already get out of your marshall considering the usage it might
get at this moment in time...personally i would put the £40 towards a serious bass setup
ready for when you start gigging....having said that it might be a nice little amp
to have lying around but maplin of late.. in my experience are quids dearer than most
of its competitors for similar quality items
