theory bboks????

Post by swampdonkey100 »

hey been playin guitar for about 2 year now id say i was average but swayin towards beginner rather that advanced. i always promise il play on it for 30 mins tonight but never happens because of my job which is physically tiring and im shattered when i get. but when i play on it i feel like im in heaven its a thing im meant to do....so my question is to you guys is.... do you recommend that the RGT grade books will aid my playin/learning because i need to get to grips with the theory of it?
also i practice my scales alot when i pick it up but it feels like im bein boring wen i constantly go up and down the fret board doing my major scales...surely constantly practising one thing is going to make me better aint it? thanx guys

I think it is good to have some direction when practicing and playing and going through the RGT will guide you though I don't find it to be a particularly fun way of learning.

I guess it preference but I think there are better books out there - it is just fining ones that suit you
