Any recommendations for a good first acoustic after playing electric?

I have been playing electric for about three years now, and I am interested in purchasing my first acoustic guitar. At first, I looked at classical guitars, but ultimately decided I wanted a normal acoustic guitar. I'm looking at purchasing a Martin LX1E because it has excellent reviews and the price is within my range. Any other recommendations in the mid-range acoustic guitar market?
