Hi and welcome

I don't mind you coming here to promote your site but do not spam the board or you will be banned. One post is (more than) enough.

Thanks

Hey Oily,

Maybe you should re-title this section. With a title like Products / Services offered it sounds like this is the place to go if you have a course or online site you want to promote.

Just a thought!

Perhaps your intentions were completely genuine but either way, we do not want multiple posts of the same site here. One promotional post is enough and that is what this section is for.

Let's cut to the chase here. Those articles are nothing more than seo spam, written and spun to fool search engine spiders. Let's not be coy here. Do you want me to review your lessons and course? I'll be happy to. In the meantime, I'll give you a line for line critique on what your "free" information is.

You can claim its a great site, but I'll meet you head on, if you're going to claim that some, poorly written outsourced seo spam is relevant content. Id fire those people immediately. Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.

I know alllll the tricks amigo, allllll of them, because I REFUSE to play games like that. I either have something worth teaching, and in time enough people will find that out on their own and it will stand on those merits alone, or I need to get out of the business and shut my site down. It's as simple as that. But I WILL NOT resort to this shite (to borrow a term from my friend Ian here) to get people to visit my site. Let it go, I know these tricks, and they insult thinking people's intelligence.

If you want legitimacy then let me review the site, but as far as I'm concerned you're an outsourced guy from a freelancer site (Most likely youre in the Phillipines or Bangladesh) or some sort getting paid .50 for 500 words that you know nothing about, or 10 cents a comment, for forum posts and back links, on high PR.

Thought I was bluffing when I said I know your game? Pretty spot on wasn't I?

Like I said, I refuse to play those games.

I'm certainly no master of the English language by any means but I think the author of these articles needs a bit more work on it. I agree it doesn't look like a site for teaching as much a site for selling or making money.

who on earth do you lot think you are???? i really do not think it is any of your business the reason that anyone promotes a site, be it there own or not. this site has lessons and also the opportunity to ask for information you can not find elsewhere or just can not be bothered to scroll through so many sites looking for it. so therefore i found it a very useful tool just starting out, the fact that you do not is your business but you do not need to be so damn rude to people. you think you have it spot on, oh my word you could not be more wrong. you need to take some lessons in manners, because you are very rude and offensive and there is no need for it at all.

ppoppy just recently this forum has been spammed to the max. We have gone from make a million playing guitar to buy soler panels and save the environment. To top that we have also had some person trying to turn us all Moslem.

I think you just posted at a sore time that is all, if you stick around you will see that we are a small however friendly community who are always willing to help each other.

well as someone just starting out and new to this i have not had a very pleasant experience from this forum, i was posting a site that has been helpful to me and thought it would be for others but all i got in return is abuse, i am sure most of the people on here are friendly but some are obviously not. Bad time or not it is no exuse for people to be so ignorant and rude to other people, there are other ways to express their feelings on spammers without going on a full blown rant and rave to someone who is NOT spamming. see you do not tolerate tons of spammers but you seem to have manners, think other people should take a leaf out of your book.

I see you took those first articles down you had up before. It doesn't do much for your case though to have the first four articles actually being adds to sell products.

If your intentions are actually genuine then you need to back off on this type of stuff. I have to say as it looks I'm a bit suspect of the intentions. Whenever I come to a site like this I click off pretty quick. Also where is this place where you can ask questions and request information? Is this the leave a comment section? Not sure if this qualifies!

Again if your intentions are genuine then make the site more about information then selling different products. Remember your post was Free guitar lessons online!

You may not agree, but to be honest, you came here to spread the word about a site that you allegedly do not own and within your first two posts you had tried to post links back to that site that to me is spam.

I don't mind people promoting their own sites, that is what this section has been created for. However, spamming is not tolerated here.

Also, if you choose to post your site in this section then you can expect it to be reviewed and commented on. Others have benefited from critique and improved their overall service.

We are a small community here and we all share a passion for music and the guitar. We welcome everyone who shares any degree of that passion as long as they are not here to try and take advantage.

I hope you understand.
