Any opinions on micro amps?

What is your favourite amps or effects? Do you use amp modellers?

Any opinions on micro amps?

Post by Apache »

My guitar teacher has gone independent and I know need to take my amp with me to my lessons, so I was wondering about getting a small microamp, that I can leave in the car, and just use for lessons.

I'd looked at the orange micro crush, and wondered if anyone had tried one?

I've got 2 Line 6 Spider IV's so don't really want to spend much, just looking for a cheap, portable soln.

thanks

ok - thanks.

Although I did have a mini brain wave (it happens occaisionally)i could connect to any speaker with an mp3 jack, so now thinking ipod docking station, although I'm going to test this out first with some pc speakers..

How about an Electro Harmonix Caliber 22 pedal? You plug it into an external speaker cab and you have a guitar combo. Theyre about £70, are pedal sized and sound pretty cool.
