Funny I had a great time.

I took me Mam for her 60 year old present. I what I found funny is how many Rod Stewart songs you actually know. I thought I knew about 3, but I sang along to loads.

He didn't do any of that when we went to see him it was all the Stuff that you associate with Rod Stewart. Although he did mention he was doing a new blues based album with Jeff Beck.

I always thought the dude could sing and standed above the crowd of artist of his days. And I always thought his songs went well with the pot generation of my time :)

If hes doing an album with jeff beck then the old bugger's still got a bit of sense left then
lets hope he kicks the contemporary stuff up the arse and gets back to his roots

I know what you mean here. I can only think of the odd couple of songs that I know the names of but I recently heard some greatest hits album and I realised that I knew of most!
