strumming with gain

I can't strumming with gain to sound right.

Any I dears?

I can't turn the gain down because then it is not the sound I want. Its quite a fast strumming pattern I just can't get it to sound like individual notes.

Using Pod farm 2

If you can, upload a little audio clip of what you are doing so we can get a better idea
