Nice one Alun - what inspired this purchase? I see this is a semi acoustic - is this the reason or was it something else?

Hi Olly, :) I was just checking the sale goods and spotted it, It is sold as a starter guitar, comes with strap, strings, picks, Dvd, you know the stuff, I liked it instantly and when I picked it up to play, well that was it, This is a very good Guitar, the finish is flawless, it has an on board chromatic tuner, 4 band EQ, plus cable balance socket and control, (Low Hz-Hi Hz) die cast tuners, it just is very nice,

Wow you are going to have a right collection of acoustics.

I have several guitars but I tend to only use two, one acoustic and one electric. I neve need to use my others - :

So what makes you choose to play one guitar over another at any given time? Do you have a favourite? :D

I usually choose a guitar to suit what I'm playing as they all have such different sounds, as far as favorite's go, probably my Yamaha FG160, as it's been with me 30 odd years, :)

Hey, Alun. It seems that you are mad about music. Ashton D25CEQ looks nice. It seems that you are frequent buyer of such things. Even me too.

Hi Alun, i didn't get where i am today by being there, so i went somewhere else.

Sweet buy on the ashton 12. Mine is just an Acoustic. when i went looking for a 12 string, i tried out a great many, some almost 5 times the price i paid for mine, and i just kept going back to it. I wasn't going to buy it because of the price, it was just to cheap, but it felt just right, and had a great sound, so despite the fact it was cheap, i bought it anyway. I am so glad i did, It's a great guitar.

Moral of the story is, just coz it's cheap, doesn't mean it's gonna be a crap guitar.

Hi Rick, good to see you here :) I looked at the acoustic several times, loved it but as I still have the Yamaha 12 string I bought off you several years ago, It seemed the perfect reason to go electro/ acoustic, the moment I saw and played this one I had to have it,
