Group guitar lessons

Post by Apache »

I've seen that my local school is starting an "intro to guitar" nightclass in Sept.

I was thinking I'd give it a go, as it might be fun playing with others, and it WILL get me back into the habit of playing everyday.

The only thing is I'm thinking you're prob meant to take an acoustic, was wondering about getting a mini amp for about £30, that can run of batteries, to take instead, as I really don't want to have to get a 3rd guitar (well I'd like to really, but as the others don't get played very much, its not really worth it).

Do you think that would be ok?

I think you will be ok taking your ESP machine of doom, with or without an amp. If I was teaching I would have to say, bring the guitar you comfortable with.

I agree, take what you are comfortable with, :)
I didn't get where I am today,
by being somewhere else.
