I too have many effects.
The effects that I use are:
Fuzz, Hi-gain, Power-tube pedal, Power attenuator. Equalizer, Phase Shifter, Wah-Wah pedal, Auto-Wah / Envelope Filter, Vibe/Rotary speaker simulator and some more.
The effects which I have but don't use are:
Reverb, Flanger, Feedbacker/Sustainer and Switcher/Mixer (or "A/B" pedal).

Nice load of effects there - how do you go about powering them all?

And do you get much hum from them whilst you are not playing the guitar?

I have a huge amount of effects. Although my favourite is the Flanger, Deley and Phaser. Seriously, I'm a Pink Floyd'ist so these come in handy ALLOT ;).

Sometimes less is more! especially if it suits your style of playing!

I have cut back on loads of effects for this very reason!

Guitar rig 4! So in a way... all kinds of effects. But if I had to stick to just a few, I'd probably go... distortion, delay, wah-wah...

I opted for the Peavey Revalver for my plug in of choice which I am finding very good at the moment. Do you just use Guitar rig as a standalone or do you use it to record? If so, do you have any of your recordings you could share with us?

Recent revelation was the Electro Harmonix Worm Modulation pedal. Loads of analog modualtion effects including Wah, Phase, Vibrato and Tremolo. You can connect up an expression pedal to change parameters dynamically. Nice bit of kit with plenty of analog vintage vibe.

Other than that I just use an EHX LPB1 to boost my Marshall Artist Combo a bit when the drummer gets too loud :o
