Some Exciting News

ok, well unfortunately I think I will be the only one on this board that is excited by this news but the band Thunder who I have been harping on about for ages are reforming for a one off gig at the High Voltage festival in July and I have tickets woohoo.

I thought that discovering Thunder after they split meant there was no hope of seeing them live and then I find out this.

I have never really been to a festival before. I am going on the one day that Thunder are playing but also Dream Theater are playing this day. I don't know any of their music but I have heard they are good.

Unfortuantely it does require a trek to London which I don't like the idea of but needs must!

Nice one. It's always a good thing to get a bit of nostalgia in!

I have just got my latest Amazon purchase - Poison's Greatest Hits 1986 - 1996, so the drive to and from work today was spent reliving my childhood.

Sounds good Mikey. I don't know much of Poison's work. Maybe I should check em out - what is a good song that I should download?

"Every Rose has its Thorn"??? You must have heard that one.

Check out "Unskinny Bop", "Poor Boy Blues", "Your mama don't dance" and "I won't forget you" - some of my favourites!

I don't think I will ever be as big a fan as you are James - though could anyone?

I think I saw them supporting ZZ Top at Milton Keynes about 15 years ago. Denim clad rockers is all that I can vaguely remember. Nice to see bands that you are nostalgic about though.

I'm a bit gutted actually as they have just announced Slash is joining the lineup on Saturday and I am only going Sunday! Would love to have seen him live!
