tv piped laughter

would any tv comedy situ be " funny " without piped laughter...what a f***** annoying
prop for lackluste tv producers and programmes

(uk)who thought the royle family was funny???????????????????? or the office????????????

Didn't get into the office, but loved the royal family. The only one I can think of that still would be funny is only fools and horses.
