For those of you that know I have been working on a new business venture. I have come up with a boost pedal. It is all point to point wired on a turret board. The components on the turret board are not the cheap ones you find in a lot of pedals these days. Every aspect of the build is done by hand.

Here is the first prototype.

They will be called El Scarab

Sound clips will follow...

There will be a website soon thanks to olly...

The price will be £149.99 free post and package.

i think if you could get the price down a bit it should sell
as it sounds really good...go for a good solid metal box...no frills
having said that there will always be the punter that wants
the full monty...so more options ..more potential customers
you could promote a standard and a delux model

i use a zoom9150 so foot pedals aren't on my shopping list although i've
got a collection of boss/behringer etc i've accumuated over the centuries

anyway bet of luck and perhaps in the not so distant future people will be saying
" i'm gigging tonight i better put a fresh battery in my JAMES'D' "

BTW(by the way) what does SHO and DAM stand for

I am doing ok at the min. They are going in shops, in 1 already and 1 sold

. I have 25 going to be on sale.

I will play the el scarab next a SHO and mine sounds better. Much more sparkle and greater defintion

Its all down to point to point wiring and I use better componants.. Zvex suffer from big bussiness cost cutting.

The DAM Meathead is a fuzz, and is the fuzz of joy....

The same regarding sound can't be said for the DAM Meathead, I bought one to tweak and mine sound just the same as the original. Mine is point to point wired and use's top components.

i'm into electronics professionally and hobby wise
....but £300 for a fuzz box thats OTT ...and the only mixers that ever crackled were
cheap crap...we're back onto the 'silver wire' and £10 capacitor fantasy island

keep yours sensibly priced and you've got to be on a winner
how much are yours selling for?

Hows it going James. Im still interested but backed up with stock at the moment. It would be good to see some advertising going on and, dare I say it, an endorsement from someone.

I am only allowing shops to sell them that have had an endorsment from Slash. I would need you to e mail a Photo of slash in your shop, and post a pee sample from slash so I can check DNA, yer some shops have tried getting away with look a likes.

I wouldneed the above before I even think about dealing with you.

Crow to be honest I can see why you are backed up with stock....

Sorry Poly, I should say, I only have my phone as a camera the pic is good sound crap...

I can plug my blackstar amp into my line six pod and record the sound good but no pic....

I dont have the software or the knowledge to edit the 2 together.

Yes the sound clipis mine.....Yes it would be great to get on you tube....If I was to do a longer sound clip and take some photos of the insidecould you put that together????

i think the soundclip is dogs blx ...some more pics wouldn't go amiss ...i think a 1-2 min would be ample
