Best topic for beginners on this board

I got my Bass today, so i am raring to go.After reading the topic of some of the posters bad habits, i think the best thing i can do is get lessons.So i booked up Thursday, and can`t wait

Yer but the challenge is well worth the trip....
Its great when you put the first few notes together and begin to recognize a song...Its a feeling I sadly miss......
I am looking forward to hearing about your first lesson lets us know....
