Help needed identifying Guitar

Post by awayfornow »

Hello,

I've been given a guitar by a friend, but am having trouble identifying a model or brand. It reminds me a bit of a Hofner guitar but there are no discernible markings on the body, neck, head or pickups to identify it from.

Here are a few pics of the guitar. It needs a bit of work on it and would like to try and find a manual or something to help with some restoration. The neck needs tightening and was wondering what the best way to go about it was.

Many thanks
