Can anyone give me a value for a guitar?

My father in law recently passed away. One of the guitars now in my possession is a 1957 Epiphone Gibson Les Paul Metallic Gold finish. As far as I can tell it is a Les Paul Gold Top 1957 with the serial number giving this date.

if it was a gibson it might be worth a small fortune...but its an epiphone
so its value wont be anywhere near...google the model for going values
