I think best site for learning guitar is www.guitarlessons.com. It has got the best techniques and lessons for beginners as well as professional guitarists.

I've found www.ultimate-guitar.com to be a good resources for tabs online. They are internet tabs submitted by anybody but when you're first learning a new song they come in real handy.

I think guitar.com is also a good site. You can watch many videos, music videos submitted by users, payer generated lessons, other sites and bands whatever you like. Even you can chat about it.
