Which AMP

What sort of amps do bands like Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy, The Who, AC/DC and other 80's metal band use? I know they all don't use the same, but I have heard a lot use Marshall for that British rock sound and then they throw a lot of gain on. Can anyone confirm, and were could I possibly get one of these?

Iron Maiden used Marshall JM 50 Amp. This is a rare vintage amp from 70s and really worth something now. At that time only 500 were made for Iron Maiden to take to their tours.
