I felt you had movement in your playing
So you are on track

If you want to connect more with your rhythm strums , think of lyrics in you head and play and sing them silently and the melody in your playing will become more richer :)
my lyrics, my guitar and my imagination

...I never thought of that...I'll try that for my next one :)

P.S. I think it's gonna be Adam Lambert - Whataya Want From Me - lots of requests from friends for me to play that on video :)

Does ayone have tips on getting better recording quality? (without heavy investment in mics, etc.) :|

Try a capo at the 2nd fret and these chords.

A, E, F#m,

or else barre the first 3 notes of the 2nd fret strings 1,2 and 3

and D.

And try to get a little "bounce" to the strum like so... " a one and.......a two and........a 3 and........a 4 and........"
