shame about the sound quality, never that easy to get right.......
I didn't get where I am today,

I felt you had movement in your playing
So you are on track
If you want to connect more with your rhythm strums , think of lyrics in you head and play and sing them silently and the melody in your playing will become more richer
my lyrics, my guitar and my imagination

...I never thought of that...I'll try that for my next one
P.S. I think it's gonna be Adam Lambert - Whataya Want From Me - lots of requests from friends for me to play that on video
Does ayone have tips on getting better recording quality? (without heavy investment in mics, etc.)

do you have a mate with a camcorder? reproduction is usually of a high quality, then just upload that....

Try a capo at the 2nd fret and these chords.
A, E, F#m,
or else barre the first 3 notes of the 2nd fret strings 1,2 and 3
and D.
And try to get a little "bounce" to the strum like so... " a one and.......a two and........a 3 and........a 4 and........"
