You can easily tab your lick using Tinylick
http://tinylick.com/Create.aspx
Save the image and upload here and perhaps some audio as well!

This is a basic Chicago blues
The notes are muted on this one
The lick is being played 4 times, so there is a break between each example
Also you are counting: one and two and three and four and
Use the down / up pick stroke to get the natural feel of the rhythm

I'm playing along with it. I used the recording of it because it sounds better with the backing track. Any of the ones that I'll post I'll be playing along with them, but it is the recordings of an exercise track that I'm posting from. This makes it more interesting and it helps those that follow want to practice the exercises too

Hey James, I'll keep them simple but fun to learn. As I mention in the other thread I'm actually playing along with the training exercise but I use the recording of the CD to give the true feel of the exercise riff. Look for the next one soon. An off take of this one.

This one is an off take of the first Chicago blues lick, notice the different strings in use. If you go with the down / up picking and mute the strings you'll get that rhythm going. On the last 3 notes , it is a triplet and use a pull off on the second note.
Go slow like I did and with much practice that pull off will come smoothly, well at least it finally did for me. I'm playing it 4 times, and there is a break between bars, kind of a long break

This is a flashy lick in G Major, its about as flashy as Im likely to get as a player, but its a great legato exercise. Watch the articulations and especially the slides as the positions shift. Play it slowly to start with. There are lots of ways to change it up, once you get the idea down.

A nice little Blues shuffle lick in A There are some position shifts required, so take it slow. The hook consists of a Major 3rd being played against the minor 3rd, very tasty.

Thanks for posting your licks, but can you include a sound file with them, that would help me and all of us here out a lot to actually here how the lick is to sound
