Topic: What is the difference between classical, electric and acoustic guitar

What is the difference between electric, classical and acoutic guitar and for praise and worship, which guitar is most frequently used?

I currently have FG830 Yamaha acoustic and wonder if I should stick with it or switch to an electric guitar.

So, the genre I am interested in is mainly praise and worship. And maybe once in awhile gospel or hymn.

I am also interested in country and folk music.

What is the guitar most suitable for me, if I want to play praise and worship songs?

Electric need to be linked to a guitar amp so you can listen to it's full potential.

Acoustic is similar to classic but has steel strings.

Classic has nylon strings.

To know which guitar to choose, normally people check out the guitars the guitar players of those genres use and buy one similar (don't ruin your bank on these, it only needs to belong to the same class and not price).
