Not so familiar with BB King...
At the moment I have the new Slash album, the New Ozzy album as well as several compilation CDs with a whole variety of rock on!!

Difficult to say at the moment. I find that I really need to let songs grow on me before I can enjoy them. Pretty much every song I have ever like I started off by not liking - in fact this is the problem I have with writing my own music as everything gets dismissed before it becomes anything - I really need to work on this.
First thoughts though, it sounds really too heavy for me and a bit same old same old. The solos seem like they have just been dumped in there because they have to be...
It all may change as I become more familiar with it however I do not think you would feel too much different than your thoughts on the last album.

I think part of the problem is that "Ozzy Osbourne" is now a brand name as much as anything else. It doesn't matter if the album is good or not, it will sell because it is Ozzy, so I suppose the incentive to produce anything that is actually any good is gone.
I have wondered if this isn't what sent Metallica downhill over the years . . . .

Yes I agree. I am sure it is also much more difficult and more time consuming (though more rewarding for all) to produce something good.
It seems all to simple for songs to be chucked together with little care or thought resulting in an uninspiring album.

Rammstein's latest album . . . I've had it since Christmas but hadn't really listened to it, man I wasted seven months, it is awesome.

You've never heard Rammstein? My God man, get yourself on youtube straight away. They sing in German but the music speaks volumes . . .
They had a top ten hit in the UK about 10 years ago with "Ich will". They were in Manchester in February but I couldn't go

my CD player in the car usually has a bootlegged Jimi Hendrix in it. Of him playing in a club in England I think. Probably can't buy these tapes legally anymore, well in asia you can get them off the street vendors maybe

MacBook / iPod mainly. I still have a single-drawer DVD hooked up in a traditional stereo system, though I only use that when I'm in the mood for a specific CD. I happen to have Chantacleer's How Sweet the Sound sitting in there at the moment, truth be heard.

I have an Aux in for my Ipod so anything goes on that. But the cd compartment has Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys in it. Bring on the summer !!
