searching for an answer

I recently became excited over a demo I had done of one of my songs, but I seem to have made a mistake (again ) on how I should have approached this situation before the demo was to be made.  At my age and experience in life I should have had the understanding on at least an intelligent way to have gone about this .  I think I failed terribly.  I found a website that tried to help me out.  If any of you like to PM me, I will tell what had happened.
