Good read. The real money is always made on the next frontier, not at the tail end of an old industry. The question should not be, "How do I stop MP3s?" but rather "How do I make money from MP3s?"
A lot has happened since 03 when that was written; I think Apple is one example of a company who went for the frontier and cashed in while the labels stumbled around fuming so much about piracy so much that they missed the market until it was too late...Apple had it tied up.
I think there's a similar story in alternative energy, but I digress.
