Topic: are you more of a maple neck or rosewood neck person

I'm more of a maple neck for electrics. I would even like a maple neck on a Les Paul.  But for acoustic , it's a rosewood.

Dunno. Is there a huge difference? I can't afford to be fussy!

I can't say I even know what neck I have on mine. I have no idea of the difference - perhaps you can explain?

For me, it just comes down to "feel of the fretboard".  The maple neck seems to have a faster feel to it than a rosewood, but may be most people might disagree with that

rosewood necks keep their ' looks ' longer..no dark staining that maple necks suffer after prolonged use

I think maple necks give a cleaner sharper sound than rosewood, they also seem to be a bit faster,  default/roll

I didn't get where I am today,
by being somewhere else.
