Topic: which would you buy "strat" or "telecaster"

Of the 2 , which would you buy first.

Having owned both, I do miss the feel of the strat, but since I'm mostly a songwriter, a telecaster offers more in tone variations when writing music for my songs.

I don't need to buy another telecaster, but my choice would be a hollow body telecaster (thinline)

After having a go on my mates tele and strat it would have to be the tele by a long way.

Imagine if the words of Imagine ever came true.....
