Topic: What's your guitar and why?
I have just bought an ESP because it had a thin neck and the colour was outstanding. So i thought, why do people choose a certain Guitar?
Is it the sound the make or the look?????

My childhood dream was to have a fender guitar, that dream didn't come true for many years. One day I walked into a music store with cash in my pocket and the rest is history.
I walked out with a Telecaster Deluxe Plus (USA) new 1992 model and it's been with me since and yes it has that childhood memory " fender magic " I feel very lucky
I have a Yamaha 112v and although its a lower marketed guitar i still love it as its my first guitar. Its lake placid blue with a white scratchplate. It holds its sound and is easy to play. I knew nothing what so ever about guitars when i bought it but was told it was decent by a friend and was a decent price so i bought it, and then researched it. I found good reviews etc and have fallen in love.
My next guitar will be an acoustic, im looking for one with a slimmer body and a cutaway, possible electro acoustic? Then ultimately i want to join watermelon john and get a fender telecaster Simply becausr the name Fender just breathes guitar and is known worldwide and they make some of the best guitars.
I play and Ibanez RG prestige edition - I forget the model number.
I bought it based on recommendation and also with the view of getting the best quality guitar for the money that I was prepare to spend.
The shape is not so much my ideal to be honest and I do somewhat regret that though it plays lovely and the colour is great and that really makes up for it.
So I think something that sounds goods and plays well to your style is important for me!
i bought a vintage ( model?) because it was the cheapest ones in the shop with a floyd fitted (£140)
its turned out ( with a bit of setting up ) to be one of the best gits ive ever gigged with (zero for looks though ) ..inc fender/les paul/
ovation breadwinner ( which were all gems )
I have over 20 guitars. My go-to guitar these days and my favorite is my Reverend Sensei in Flame Maple, and I also have a Flatroc and a 10th Anniversary Jetstream. On the acoustic side, my Breedloves (note that is plural) are all I'll ever want or need in the acoustic, though one day I might go for a Taylor T5.
I love also, my G&L's and my DiPintos, and I do have a few ESP's. But since Im not as metal centric as I once was they see little playing time.

20 guitars you lucky man which one is your absolute favourite?
It's actually a misprint, sorry...its 30 guitars, not 20.
My favorite in my Acoustic is my Breedlove Cedar Top and Rosewood back and sides, its what I use when I perform live, as a singer songwriter. I power my rig through a Fishman Performer Pro Tower and a Shure 58, and it never lets me down. I've performed in front of as many as 3000 with that rig. It's the closest to my heart.
On the electric, my sentimental favorite for coolness is the 61 Gibson 330. But for playing out, its my Reverend Sensei by far...just too much cool....
