Angus Young and I was board of going to hospital with my hands.
Re: inspiration
I used to play the Piano when I was young. I enjoyed it and wanted to learn something a bit more cool.
I remember getting my first acoustic guitar for Christmas, must have been when I was about 9. For some reason I thought I would be able to just play it as any guitarists I had seen on the telly made it look so easy.
When I realised I couldn't just play it, it stayed dormant for a year until I was able to take lessons at school!
Re: inspiration
My main inspiration was without a doubt, Bert Weedon, in the late 50's early 60's, I got my very first acoustic around 1964,
A small sized Stella, (probably worth a bob or two now) but when I couldn't just play it, I smashed it in temper, (what a brat )
by being somewhere else.
