Zakk Wylde
I dont agree with the RR comment though, not remotely, for his time when he came out, few could do what he did, and his thing was absolutely original, and today because of what he did there are so many guitarists doing runs straight out of his playbook everytime they run a legato line.
A hard act if not impossible to follow...
...ask Bernie Torme and Brad Gillis...
Instructor
Zakk Wylde and probably most that are deceased (except Hendrix of course)

Its the one that does it for you.
I don't think there is such a thing. It is open to opinion
wow randy rhodes was awsome (kicks vince in the shin lol) zakk wylde i love his style but hes overatted in the one of the greatest bracket but i still think hes fantastic tho and vince randy rhodes is a major part of the evolution of guitar playing
I am probably going to get a bit of stick, but Steve Vai, Malmsteen and most of the other speed guitarists as i find them very boring.I don`t like instrumentals which they specialise in.Talented, but boring.I find them better when they are with real bands and not just shredding for the sake of it.
hank marvin never seems to crop up .....period.....to be knocked or revered
whats going on??.... (or bert)....these two people have done more to popularise
the guitar than all the rest put together
