Thanks Olly, do you have any recommendations on an electric guitar I should go for?

Obviously the cheaper the better but I want something that is good quality also.

Ah that sounds good to know, do you think if I change to an electric guitar it may help? I've heard barre chords are a lot easier to play for beginners......
