I never played through one, but i heard a lot of good things about them. I do think they're pretty cool, but i could never afford the one i'd want. I do have some Black Star distortion pedals and they're really good quality, but i never had one of their amps.

I don't have anything fancy. I used to use a 100 watt Marshall but now i just use a 75 watt Line 6. Both my Tele and Jackson sound really good through it. I wish the distortion was a little better, but it's not all that bad. Clean is awesome.

A lot of people seem to start playing when they're 12 or 13, but i say do it as soon as you can! I think teaching kids music is a great thing.
