Reverb and overdrive I guess, they're both essential to my guitar playing. I also use delay a lot :)

A lot of modern fusion guitarists seems to be using all fourths tuning (EADGCF). Keeps all your scale and chord shapes the same!

Chord Looping Programs

As a guitar teacher myself, my two favourite pieces of software are iRealB and Band in a Box. They both allow you to loop chord progressions round in a range of styles, but one is iOS/mac based, the other is windows/mac.

Anyone else use them for guitar practice or teaching?

The jazz chorus' are fantastic amps for a clean tone, by far the best from the solid state market. I've got one profiled on my Kemper and use it a lot :)

As far as digital amps go, I'd personally stay clear of Line 6 amps, having owned a Toneport in the past. Digital guitar amp technology has come a long way what with the Kemper and Axe FX coming along. Nonetheless, good luck with selling them, hope it works well for you!

I've played through quite a few Blackstar amps, and found them to be very good for the money! One of my friends owns a HT-1 :)
