my CD player in the car usually has a bootlegged Jimi Hendrix  in it. Of him playing in a club in England I think.  Probably can't buy these tapes legally anymore, well in asia you can get them off the street vendors maybe

The surgar that is used today from corn or whatever has been found to be harmful. As if we didn't already know it.  I don't drink sodas at the fast food because it taste like poison medicine, but I recently bought an imported soda from the states and it tasted like crap too.

anyway here is an article

I think I checked it out, but for some reason the site didn't connect with me, may be it wasn't free. I'll check it out again and see

If I had the spare cash sitting around, I think I'd be looking at the combo Marshalls made in Vietnam. I've heard them and they sound really good. Price wise about $350, maybe a little less if I can get them to discount it

I kind of agree with you, but when more and more people are out of jobs I guess that is what they mean by a recession

Are you a jazz fan John?

I must admit it's never appealed to me. I like a bit of Dizzy Gillespie but that's the extent of it for me.

I like to listen to jazz guitar. Aussie gave me a few new chords the other day and it reminded me of this site that I go to so I posted it.  A nice jazz tune with some easy chords to play is what I'm working on now

I've got albums , but no turntable.  Been looking at used ones at the recycle shop for a couple of years, but they seem to cost more used than they did new.  Hope some day I'll find one. Some of my albums are over 50 years old.

It's a piece of software that basically plays midi files whilst at the same time showing you the tab.

it's a great way of learning tabs as you hear the timing which is essential to learning music in general.

There used to be a great archive of guitar pro tabs but I think it was shut down.

I have the full backup though so if anyone wants a specific guitar pro tab then let me know and I will probably have it. This is really for songs older than a year though.

Olly

Is it possible to get the whole file from you on your tabs

thanks

Kind of a short article, but interesting.  Having owned serveral businesses in the last 30+ years I've lived through the slow periods but never had to go on food stamps.  There are more people now on food stamps then ever before

I'd love to make it to Japan.

How long have you been there John?

I first came here in the early 70's and in the 90's the wife wanted to move back to her home town here in Japan.  Been here about 20 years now. I like it here. Although now we are mostly retired we do work mostly for a hobby it seems like these days.  Nice to wake up in the morning and to have a river just minutes away to go fishing and catch the morning breakfast. Really live in a great part of Japan where nature is all around us. There are wild pigs in the mountain behind our house, but I have yet been hunting with the local people.
