Hi guys, been a bit busy here. The wife and I are fine. Things are looking better in a few places today, but the power plant is a big danger. The US has its drone planes monitoring the radiation levels. They just put out an alert that all Americans should get at least 90 kilometers from the plant. Also many foreigners here that just live on a shoe string and are affected really want to get out of the country. Foreigners are advised not to visit Japan at the moment. I'll keep you guys informed.

We don't live anywhere near the area. We are down south, but we live in the tsunami zone and 10 minutes inland from the ocean. We got some strong waves but they were not high. Boats got tossed around, that was about it. Japan is a total disaster at the moment. Over 1.3 million people being dispersed around the country. US military is arriving today with there helicopters.

Weekly is far by the choice for a beginner. Advance students I think vary upon their request and I don't see anything wrong with 1 or more lessons per month

Looks like a cool site. I my well crib some stuff for my own guitar teaching.

Hey crow, it is really a good site for teachers and if one has the time to spend on the site, you'll probably not have to buy any more guitar books LOL

Hi James
yes, I seem to do a lot of pulling off ( I do most of my pull offs with my pinky) I find it easier to do it that way. The hammering on really took me a lot of practice to get speed going, but these days I do feel a bit comfortable doing them.
thanks for listening

many people know this is one of the great sites on the net.
It does cost $20 a year, but much of it is free.

I always new this was true, I even hear of it when I was in elementary school. The weather is affecting everything now. Need to have at least a year of food and seeds put away and depend on your own survival instincts.

Re: Current Effects (3 replies, posted in Effects)
I think I have the Boss DD-3 Digital delay, I'm glad I paid the 80 bucks for it. I use it mainly to give it a reverb sound, yep reverb. I like the delay on it but for me it give the tone on the guitar a more fuller sound. I also use the DOD super distortion (I'll look up the model and post it later) with this and the delay I get my tone which I'm happy with. I also have a wah that I sometimes use to get a soft crunch sound for like heavy metal sound that I use with the DOD. I'm actually quite happy with the simple stuff, but if I have some money I would like to get a stomp box with all the goodies and a looper on it, but my first purchase will be the frontman 212R by fender. Saving for it now, still haven't sold my marshall yet though
