Been on them for a week and given up smoking normal cigs.

Saved £40...well I can't have you lot having all the Les Pauls now can I.

Was in the RSPCA charity shop in Otley.  I was looking on the toy shelf when I found this...

I picked it up and thought this can't be a child's guitar, the neck is way to thick.

It was priced at a £10 so I bought it..

Got home and found out it was an East German made Pallor Guitar. That was the easy bit..

Once I figured out what "Made in GDR" related to which country.

There are no other identifying marks..

I don't think it priceless, but would love to more about its history.

Its old and very well made, it also sound pretty good. I will do a sound clip when the new strings arrive...

2 weeks ago I was awoken during the night with tooth ache. I rang the 24 hour dentist help line and they got me in that morning.

I went....and was told I had a abscess  behind my tooth and need a root canal treatment. So off he went. The tooth would not numb up because of the abscess but been a brave lad I let him do it. PAINFUL.

He pulled out the nerve and left a hole in my tooth to let all the bad shit drain away. When he had done I came home and put me head under the pillow and felt sorry for myself.

I had a follow up appointment today at a different dentist. I thought I was just gonna get my hole filled, the one in my tooth that is, for all you twisted folk out there. NO. I had all my teeth x-rayed and was told I needed  another root canel, (the joy).

The dentist said come back at 12.20 and we will sort it then. I should just point out that the tooth he was gona work on was broken. 

He told me that unless I had the root canal done the tooth would die as the nerve was dead. He starts drilling I was in a lot of pain the he drilled right into the the dead nerve, or so he thought. I felt this pain like I never felt before, and I have been married 20 years to two wives.

I jumped out of the chair screaming, the dentist had this look of complete fright on his face. Lucky for him I am a pacifist, I just said

"it safe, its not safe what the f*** do want me to say".

The dentist says

"The nerves still live thats good we can now fit a crown"

I say

"the nerve still alive no shit sherlock"

He numbed the nerve and took an impression for a crown fitted me with a cap which has fallen off already, and thought better of filling my drainage hole in the tooth I had the abscess drained in last week.
