Cheers guys,

the actual engraving takes about 10 mins. The design/image processing process can be from a few minutes to quite a few minutes heh! All good fun though, especially when you see them bolted on! default/big_smile

And this one, which was an order from finland, where this is supposedly a famous painting....

Here's one I have knocking around that was just a test peice. It was for a friend who is welsh (hence dragone) religious (cross) and bought a tribal painted guitar. His initials are in the middle.

They're a bit of a pain to photograph. lol

We get quite a bit of business yes, and no ebay is just a small slice really.

A lot of business has been generated word of mouth i.e. i'll get an email "hi, my friend had a neck plate done....i'd like one with so and so on...etc" I think this is mainly because how much better they look in real life. The effect is almost holographic as the light changes on them!

We also offer a serialisation set up for luthiers. I'll see if I can post a couple of pictures on here of some more default/yikes)

Yep I'm based in England. We dont post many designs on ebay as they tend to be customers own designs but here's a couple to look at...

My personal plate....

A plate commissioned by a friend....

Like I said you can have anything on there! I love em default/big_smile

I'm into folk, blues, rock, acoustic. Generally play folky acoustic type stuff from a few "ultimate acoustic bibley" type books. Just love plugging in and noodling around with the blues scale heh. I also play the banjolele!  default/big_smile

No i's just a sideline, but a fun one. I've sent out some gorgeous plates to people. If you type in custom neck plate in ebay you'll see my actual plate on my strat default/yikes)

I'd recommend Blackstar HT5, it's an amazing little valve amp built like a brick. pricey for a little thing but worth the dollar!

My bad habit is not practising at all. I just pick up a guitar from my rack and noodle about ha! I love it, but consuquently im not very good and ive been playing for a while!

That's right. It's about the natural form - which seems odd because it feels akward at first! The guitar sits this way and does not need to be (or shouldnt need to be) held up in any way, leaving your arms and hands free just to play.

Cheers Olly! Only been on an hour and found some pretty interesting stuff. I was just reading your post about borrowed chords...cant help you though lol.
I agree with the major then minor effect. Can sound cool.

I think a pick should be chosen along with all other guitar gear, for sound (and comfort of course). I use thin one for strumming acoustic, a very thin one for a whimsical sound and the thick green dunlop ones for electric blues  default/cool
