thanks works dead here in the uk building trades a mess so if theres any chance i can get a few quid localy maybee get some students put some cheap advertising and cheap lessons in the glasgow area that would be a start kids in uk thesedays love indie oasis foo fighters etc guitarwise easy to teach 1in 10 will like more complicated stuff to learn i had the chance at 14 years old to goto perth rock college east scotland they do summer school for kids whos music teacher recomends them but i was one of the best goalkeepers in the west of scotland (soccer) i was pro youth s form with partick thistle football club and they took us to italy for a tournament and got to go to the 3 scotland games at the world cup. my music teacher just taught piano so was useless for me at highschool so i got into the habbit of smoking weed coach dropped me from the football then all i done was get stoned with my guitar got an aprenticeship as a plumber gas fitter hands get abused in plumbing cuts hacks burns soldering etc sold my guitars for some weed at 17 never played again till i spliit with daughters mum i was 23 id forgoton quite alot got some tab books then got back into it i couldnt even to this day tell you the name of a lot of the chords that i know lol but i clicked to the pentatonic scale really well quite young but my plans to progress as a player to get into melodic minor and dorian to mix things up i was told by my bud zal to not to learn 4 5 different scales at once but to concentrate on melodic minor and dorian to mix with my pentatonic attributes if that makes sence like better being master of 3 to 4 scales than try n be a vai guthrie govan greg howie satch malmteen and know it all there 1 in a million talent wise so iam 35 i used to want to be joe satriani but now i want to be a bluesman ive been lucky to be freinds with some of scotlands best talent who all use same studio as me which my freind owns guys like alan nimmo al brown laurence thompson george watt paul rose zal cleminson ted mckenna chris glen who is with MSG on and off i played bass in a blues band for two years not long ago guitar is an incredable journey and i dont half rabbit on when iam stoned lol we got off on wrong foot this is my peace offering but iam gony post some vids of my freinds who are influencing me soo much and i think you guys will like them too pce
