i recomend playing the guitar on normal tuning  if your just learning to play guitar isnt just a bout metal   and a droped d tuning is great for slide but in metal its lazy guitar playing baring frets on the droped d and a strings i find that takes  away the craft of guitar playing jug jug jug jug jug bar jug jug bar   lol a trained monkey could do that thats not guitar playing in my opinion i highly recomend learning to play guitar in normal tunings  default/smile

if your into metal you'll need your floyd lots of you tube tutorials on how a floyd works how to adjust them etc floating trems take a bit of getting use to but for heavy metal/rock   id recommend keeping your  trem in  dont be shy in posting webcam vids or mp3  of you playing   default/cool
