Hi
There are 1000's of 3 chord songs... a number of 2 chord songs...but a song that you only need to know how to play one chord!!
There actually is a one chord song, It's called "I know a song that'll get on your nerves" Joe Pasquali did it!!!

Yes that would be my preference too. I think it looks great on a LP - however I am a long way off being in the market for one though unfortunately!
I'm sure if you really want a Les Paul, you will get one, good luck, I have been saving hard for over a year to get my Tele, and will be putting the final few quid in in two weeks, then off i go

I've played live a couple of times, but not in the last ten years, one was in a pub open mic night, with a female singer, We got invited back, but she moved
And I played in a band for awhile but we only did the one live gig, for charity, also played with a couple of bands in garages and porta kabins, all good fun and experience.

I'm rapidly starting to think I may be the oldest person on here? What about Satanic Majesties Request, by the Rolling Stones, absolute classic, Obscured by Clouds, Dark Side of the Moon and the Wall by Pink Floyd,

Come on, I can't believe no one's mentioned Dave Gilmour, the man is a genius, closely followed by Brian May, Not to forget Hank Marvin,
It's not all about speed and shred is it?

Yes I know what you mean, I've looked at Crimson red, and Midnight wine, about the only colours that do it for me, I'm not at all keen on the Blacks and Whites, so this is it, Natural or Sunburst
Am off to sort it out sometime in the next 2 week's, will post a pic when i get it.

Am looking at either a natural or sunburst Tele, difficult choice, but am leaning to sunburst.

I agree watermelon john, the pretenders can look good, but they just don't have it, there's a certain magic in a real American Tele, I'm about to buy a new American Standard Tele, in either natural or two colour sunburst with the maple finger board, I'm leaning slightly more toward the sunburst at the moment,
