Hi Olly,  default/smile  Usually when the tuner goes tight under full tension it is usually due to wear in the brass worm gear, this causes it to slip between the teeth on the tuner, then they try to pass each other as they are out of sync, this causes the tightness, you can buy the buttons singly but I would advise a complete new set of tuners, not that expensive for classical guitars.  default/sad

Is the Vocal version at the the same tempo?

Liking the band name,  default/smile  I reckon the tempo should be about the same, I don't use any timing aids sad to say I've never got on with metronomes and such,

Dear Olly,

I have never written to you before, but I really need your advice. I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me.

The usual signs; phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been going out with 'the girls' a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, just some friends from work, you don't know them.

I try to stay awake and watch for her when she comes home, but I usually fall asleep.
Anyway, I have never broached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just did not want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to finally check on her around midnight, I hid in the garage behind my Guitar case's so I could get a good view of the whole street when she arrived home from a night out with "the girls."
When she got out of the car she was buttoning up her blouse, which was open, and she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on.

It was at that moment, crouching behind my Guitars that I noticed a hairline crack where the neck meets the body on my Les Paul custom,

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the Guitar centre?

Signed...
Concerned Guitarist.

Very impressed that you wound your own P/up's, good to have your own sound, I have the American Standard Tele, and the other one you see is the Squier Classic Vibe Custom, by Fender, it's made in China, the build quality and finish is second to none, I would Highly recommend this guitar it's equipped with Alnico V p/up's, the neck is slim and very fast straight out of the box, at £300 you couldn't build one like it, give them a look, the whole Classic Vibe series are excellent.  default/smile

This looks like a fairly good quality guitar, I don't know about this particular maker, but the average second hand price online is around the £120-£150,  default/cool
Nylon strings need to to pass through the tuning peg twice that will stop any slippage,

Hi Olly, it's completely acoustic, I use 10-47s D'Addario phosphor bronze on on most acoustics,  but only ever RotoSound super bronze contact core 10-50s on my Yamaha acoustic.
But your right about the sound of the 12s on the Epiphone,  they sound amazing, I will put a clip up in the next couple of days,  default/smile
