Looks great! How does a Satriani guitar feel? Probably pretty easy to get around on I would think...

Guitar rig 4! So in a way... all kinds of effects. But if I had to stick to just a few, I'd probably go... distortion, delay, wah-wah...

I'd plan something for him that would be useful to his over-all guitar playing skills... Judge where he is at and what he needs to know, and start filling in the gaps. Would make the decision as to what needs to be taught for him, not rely on his opinion until he said something, or indicated he'd like a change in direction.

Interesting... trying to figure out what that discussion has to do with guitars though... Poetry can be used as lyrics of course... and lyrics can be poems. Some guitar players do sing. Some write their own songs. Those who write their own songs need to be able to write lyrics if they are going to sing them. So some ability with poetry might come in handy. I feel better now... related the post to guitar...

I've seen EJ live three times. The first time I didn't really know what he was all about. A friend of mine suggested going, so I went. Best move I ever made. Blew me away and changed the way I looked at guitar. No stage presence? Who cares... the best guitarist to ever walk the planet in my opinion. He can play anybody's style, yet nobody can touch his... If you have a chance to see him live, definitely should.
