I've not picked up my guitar for a long time, as life has had its little challenges for sometime.
I picked it up on Sat and played - and really enjoyed it.
So I want to get back playing regularly again, so I've booked a lesson for Wed.
Now in panic mode, I can't play anything other than paranoid! Even Anarchy in the Uk which was my 2nd favourite, I can't remember where all the power chords are (this isn't in tab :-( ) stairway and reaper intro's are gone too...
Think I'll be making a prat of myself on Wed, and be mumbling, I could play a while ago...
The 30 watt combo features 12 great amp models, 7 smart FX (with up to 3 simultaneous effects) and strikes a great balance between portable practice amp and powerful gig rig.
Each Spider IV amplifier can dramatically expand its sonic capabilities with the addition of a Line 6 foot controller, including FBV Shortboard; MkII, FBV Express; MkII and FBV2;. These powerful and durable foot controllers deliver everything from wah-wah, pitch-shift and volume control to tap tempo, a chromatic tuner display and simple channel switching (none of these are included).
Providing all the conveniences that guitarists expect from Line 6 amplifiers, Spider IV amplifiers feature a built-in tuner, a CD/MP3 input, a three-band EQ and a headphone output that doubles as a high-quality direct-recording output.
This has been used for light practice for about a year, but hasn't been used for gigging etc.
Buyer to collect - Lancashire
After damaging my ear 3.5 months ago, (note to self never stand next to the amps when watching a metallica tribute band), my ear is finally feeling a lot better, so when I got back in last night I got the ESP off the wall, and played (badly LOL), but had fun, and I'm going to attempt to play more regularly now
I know, it is insane, and don't even get me started on all the compensation claims, and the mind boggling health and safety laws that have multiplied...
the world is mad...
Hammett....
LOL - thought you might like them!
I actually think they're better (ducks and hides)...
Have they recently moved in? Is there nothing you can do with other neighbours to raise this an an environmental concern?
Must be horrible
Is your email address published on a website? if so might be worth using a predefined form instead.
I didn't see it either...
Hmm :-(
Good to see you back John
James - that sounds tough! Least its your last year..
That's awful! that he would do that to a kid!
LOL!
Have you ever listened to Airbourne? I saw them when they supported Maiden last year, their sound reminds me of AC DC (they're also very good live!)
Nooo.....
Hammett & Hetfield
I'm sure you know me well enough to guess my reply
And of course it has to have double humbuckers
Well I've got 2 Spider IV's - 15w and 30w, combined with the pocket pod - lots of flexibilty.
Saying that I've never used a valve amp (as fas as i know LOL)
It just seems sad to wait until someone is dead, and then dig up dirt when they can't defend themselves...
Alun - that's fab! amd Jacqui's sections are really lovely
I have not really heard anything of Slipknot or Rammstein - I think they will be a little heavy even for my liking. So it looks unlikely that I will go to download next year!
Rammstein aren't that heavy - and they do an amazing show with loads of pryo's. IT will prob be their last uk gig, so lookinh forwards to it
