Change strings you might just have an odd one.
Arh I just hate to own up to this, but I was playing Always On My Mind, and have just seen that the TAB is wrong, So sorry guys. At least the guitar has had a thorough tune up

Spent the morning going back to basics. tuning the 12th fret to 12th harmonic on all the strings is spot on EXCEPT for the 5th B string which in order to get a C# at the 3rd fret has to be tuned to C# also. I know a Stagg is not the greatest guitar aroung but this is driving me crazy
No it has a fixed bridge, I will check the 12th fret/Harmonic this morning to make sure it is still in tune. I have only just joined this site, what a great bunch of guys you all are
What about just using one of those splutters you can just plug in.
I remember one of my old guitar teachers did that and it worked ok though if you turn one guitar down, it turned the other down, so not sure how well that would work for two people playing at the same time!
Yes I thought of that, but as you have pointed out, one affects the other, thats why I need to know if they would be wired in parallel or series, I suspect series, but dont know for sure
Can anyone advise if I can wire in an additional input socket so that 2 of us can play. If poss, is it wired in parallel?
Thanks for coming back
Its a Stagg X300 standard tuning EADGBE I used Ernie BAlls Extra Slinky 8,11,14,22,30,38 gauge
Thanks for the welcome Oily
Please help an old man from going crazy. A while ago I attempted to retune to DADF#AD. Stupidly I went up not down and broke the 5th B string. I replaced the string and now although tuned correctly (checked with two tuners) when I play 3rd fret on the B it is a tone out, I have to play the 5th fret E to get a D. I though I may have changed it with the wrong string, so replaced today and it is still the same. What wrong?
Forgive me for gatecrashing this thread, but I am a newbie and cannot see at the mo, how to set up a new thread
I have a Danelectric N30 practice amp. Can I wire in a 2nd input jack plug? If so would it be wired in parallel?
Thanks
