Hello my first post

Would really appreciate the help,  I can't decide on which one to buy
Line 6 or the quad cortex the main sound I am looking for is the
Pink floyd "David gilmour" tone. I've watch many YouTube videos
There are lots on the line 6 but not so many on the cortex,
What would you consider the best? For this tone

I use Quad Cortex and it really is a beast. Incredible unit!
I’ve Mesa Boogie all my life, but getting too old to carry the lumps around.
QC is excellent. My only gripe with it is I spend too much time experimenting with all of its sounds when I should be practicing!
I would go for one though if you are in the market.

Hi,
Does anyone have any recommendations for good classical guitar tutor books for beginners?
I teach kids from 6 onwards also adults. I use the ABRSM exam syllabus.
I use a couple of books, and they are ok but I feel the older kids find them a bit 'childish'. The 'adult' tutor books tend to be a little harder and too formal for the children.

Just wondering if anyone has come across any goodies?
Thanks,
Jazza

Hi everyone,
Just found this forum and wanted to say hello.
I’ve been a working guitarist for 30 odd years since I left college, and I now teach in schools in Bournemouth. (I’m getting older inevitably!)

Looking forward to chatting, learning and hopefully contributing.

Cheers,
Dazz
