yes start working on the the first cord of a song and work your way from there. The fact is that most of the time, a song will start and end on the same chord, and that is usually the key like olly said.

Sometimes there are exceptions but rare. For songs that fade out, note the the first chord in the song, and the last chord at the end of the chorus.

What is the best way to apply note bending. I know this is the most common technique but I always feel that some of the fretting-hand techniques are what I struggle with.  Is it easily accomplished on a acoustic or an electric guitar ?

yes there are more and would be a toss up between King Crimson, Megadeth, Iced Earth and Frank Zappa.

I think the lead would be King Crimson

Iron Maiden used Marshall JM 50 Amp. This is a rare vintage amp from 70s and really worth something now.  At that time only 500 were made for Iron Maiden to take to their tours.

I am learning as well. It does hurt when you have just stared or even if you give a long break playing.

The great thing about guitar is that its so versatile and you can play almost any type of music and its so popular as well. I love the jazz music more than any other, however I listen and try to play rock as well, when my parents are away that is default/smile. Would love to get some lessons though or share tips on how to improve.
